Final Project - contents page

I really like the photogragh used for my contents, i think it looks professional and the shot is different, as i have taken it looking down on the band. I also think my text is suitable for the 'indie' genre, as well as the colour scheme of red, white and grey. However, i am disappointed with the fact it only informs the reader, and doesn't necessarily interst them with pictures and large captions. The writing itself makes sense, is relevant and tells the reader whats inside, but if i was to make another magazine i would take this into consideration.

Final project - article

I'm very happy with my feature article, i enjoyed writing the article itself, and have used some large captions and a heading to create a more realistic, professional look. I have used the colours black, white and blue, as i think they represent the teenage indie band well and reflect their personalities. I have also gone for a polaroid picture look and used a handwriting style for there names. I think this makes it more personal, and shows that the band is laidback. However, i think i could have made my text slightly smaller, and possibly had a few more images, as a professional magazine, would try to fill the page with more photos.
